Amit Kumar is a research scientist at Microarchitecture Research Labs, Intel. His research interests include interconnection networks and computer architecture.
He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University where he was advised by Prof. Li-Shiuan Peh and Prof. Niraj Jha. He has a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Two of his papers have appeared in the IEEE Micro Top Picks of Computer Architecture. He was awarded the Intel Ph.D. Fellowship in 2006 and 2007.
