Huai-An Chin started the Ph.D. program in 2011 and had his thesis defense in January, 2016. His research was primarily focused on the study of energy conversion mechanisms via ferroic materials. Outside the lab, Huai-An Chin enjoyed hiking in the mountains, playing basketball and tasting good tea.
