Born in Chicago, BSEE 1980 at Caltech, Dept. of Defense project engineer until 1990, MSEE 1992 and PhD 1994 from Princeton. Married to ISS alum Andre Zaccarin and now a resident of Canada. Professor at Universite Laval in the ECE department and the soon to be launched Ecole Superieur d'Optique et Photonique. Two years in Silicon Valley with Intel working on multiuser detection for UWB. Two daughters growing like weeds. One great sabbatical with ISS alum Alberto Bononi in Parma Italy.
