Wenzhe Cao joined McKinsey & Company as a management consultant in 2013. In 2012 she worked as a principal scientist at Syzygy Memory Plastics, a startup company located in Dallas, Texas. In her research she sought to introduce stretchable electronics to biological applications. She developed reproducible stretchable electrodes, simulated their stretching mechanism by comparing numerical models with experimental results, and collaborated with neuroscientists on their application. She received her Ph.D and M.A in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University in 2013 and 2009, respectively, and the B.S.E degree in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, in 2007.
