Eric Schmidt ’76 to head Pentagon’s new advisory board

The Pentagon announced that Eric Schmidt, executive chair of Alphabet, will head its new Defense Innovation Advisory Board, formed to provide advice on technology and related innovation to Secretary of Defense Ash Carter. Schmidt graduated from Princeton in 1976 with an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and has served as a University trustee and a member of the Engineering School’s Leadership Council.  More details can be found here
