Lu research on medical imaging takes top prize at Innovation Forum

March 2, 2016

EE Grad Student Jen-Tang Lu’s research on medical imaging take stop prize at Innovation Forum.  Working with Prof. Jason Fleischer, Lu has developed technology to produce better-quality ultrasound images by combining physics, biology and computer algorithms that automatically identify anatomical structures or other features.  The result is a composite picture with higher resolution, better contrast, lower noise, fewer artifacts and more tissue-specific response, said Lu. More details can be found here.
