Prof. Mung Chiang co-creator of consortium on ‘Fog’ Network

Prof. Mung Chiang is the co-founder of the Open Fog Consortium, a new non-profit group whose goal is to build a basic architecture for fog networking in coming years.  The consortium expects to deliver reports and white papers detailing best practices for the new technologies in fog computing as they are developed.  The goal of the consortium is to “define a common framework for distributed computing based on open standard technologies.”  More details can be found here.
