Rodriguez Receives NSF Career Award

January 16, 2015

Prof. Alejandro Rodriguez received the National Science Foundation Career Award for his research proposal entitled “Fluctuation-Induced Phenomena in Microstructured Media”.  The proposal aims to investigate a variety of fluctuation phenomena at nanoscale lengthscales where the non-locality and inhomogeneities of structured media and wave effects can impact energy and momentum transfer arising from quantum and thermal fluctuations.  Prof. Rodriguez joined the EE Department in September 2013.
