Two EE Seniors Receive SEAS Undergraduate Awards

Callie Woods '14, advised by Claire Gmachl and Abigail Ward  '14 advised by Naveen Verma, received SEAS Undergraduate Awards on June 2, 2014.
 
Callie received the PRISM Newport Award for Excellence.  This award is given annually to a graduating senior who has demonstrated high scholastic achievement and has also shown high potential for leadership in teh field of photonics, electro-optics or optoelectronic materials.  For the full story of the PRISM Newport Award, please click here.
 
Abigail received the Calvin Dodd MacCraken Senior Thesis/Project Award.  This award was established in honor of Mr. MacCraken, Class of 1940, by his family, to recognize the senior thesis or project work that is most distrinctive for its inventiveness and technical accomplishment.
