Wentzlaff receives DARPA Young Faculty Award

Prof. David Wentzlaff, assistant professor in the department, has received the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)’s Young Faculty Award (YFA) for his proposal entitled, "Looking Beyond the Dark, Rethinking General Purpose Computer Architecture for UAV and Space Processing". 
 
The long-term goal of the YFA program is to develop the next generation of academic scientists, engineers and mathematicians in key disciplines who will focus a significant portion of their career on DoD and national security issues.
