William Surber Jr., professor of electrical engineering emeritus, dies at 94

William Surber Jr., Electrical Engineering emeritus professor, died Aug. 27 at age 94. Professor Surber served on the faculty for 39 years and was known for his enthusiasm for teaching. 
 
His research concentrated on linear servomechanisms, which concerns automatic control systems and computers. He was a consultant to the Curtis Wright Corporation's Electronic Division and Brookhaven National Laboratory.  Complete article can be found here
