Stefano Buzzi was born in Piano di Sorrento, Italy on
December 10, 1970. He received with honors the Dr. Eng. degree in ELectronic Engineering in 1994, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science in 1999, both from the University of Naples "Federico II". In 1996 he spent six months at CSELT (Centro Studi e Laboratori Telecomunicazioni), Turin, Italy, while in the years 1999-2001 he had several visiting appointments at the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Princeton University, as a Visiting Research Fellow. He is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Cassino, Italy. His current research and study interests lie in the area of Statistical Signal Processing, with emphasis on wireless communications and radar detection.
