Scott received his PhD from Princeton in 2008 studying mid-infrared semiconductor lasers. After graduation, Scott took a post doctoral research position at the School of Applied and Engineering Physics at Cornell University. At Cornell, Scott developed multiphoton medical microscopes for fast deep fluorescence lifetime imaging and developed technology for high speed in-vivo dissolved oxygen sensing in vasculature.
Dr. Howard is currently an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. His work is on developing medical and imaging diagnostics in the near- and mid-infrared.
