Anthony Kuh has been at the University of Hawaii since 1986 where he is currently a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley , an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University. He has also received an NSF PYI award, was a member of the IEEE Neural Network Administrative Council representing the Information Theory Society, and is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems. He is also a Fellow of the IEEE. From 1999-2002 he served as Chairman of the Electrical Engineering Department.
