David received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University in 2010 and his B.Eng. in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Université Laval in 2004. His design and implementation work on security architecture appeared in several peer reviewed publications and is the subject of a patent application. His paper on "Scalable Architectural Support for Trusted Software" was a Best Paper finalist at the IEEE International Symposium on High Performance Computer Architecture (HPCA) in January 2010. While at Princeton, David was the recipient of a fellowship from the Quebec Fund for Research in Nature and Technology and the Wu prize for Excellence in Research, and was honored on the Department of Electrical Engineering's commendation list for teaching assistants. During his graduate studies, David spent two summers at Intel in Oregon where he worked on security evaluation and security research, and was co-inventor of two Intel patent applications.
Outside of his current work as a consultant at McKinsey & Company advising Fortune 500 companies on security and business technology, David’s main interests are cooking and foreign affairs. He is an admiring follower of French techniques, but loves to explore and understand all cuisines, especially Italian traditional food. His favorite reading material is the Journal of Foreign Affairs.
