Selam! I am a Ph.D. candidate at Princeton University in the Department of Electrical Engineering. My research interests are primarily in quantum computation and condensed matter physics. For graduate work, I have focused on electron spin resonance experiments on donor spins in silicon and electrons floating on superfluid helium as a member of Lyon lab. I am also interested in quantum optics, cryptography and reversible computing. Formerly, I was a student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Manhattan College. Before that, I spent 6 years at Saint Joseph School in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Outside academics, I enjoy swimming, DJing at Dbar, and writing code in Python.
