Integrated Electronic Systems

Circuits bring basic electronic devices, such as transistors, to life by combining them to realize useful functions. While at one time such functions existed in isolated locations, today we would like them to be pervasive, existing in outer space, underground, all around us, and indeed within us. With rapidly elevating scope and sophistication of the functions we are demanding, integrated circuits and systems face unprecedented challenges. Electrical Engineering at Princeton is solving these challenges by collectively harnessing the strengths of emerging devices, architectural principles, and algorithms to realize new functions that will drive the next generation of applications.
