Army's Young Investigator Program honors Prateek Mittal for work on safer memory

Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering Prateek Mittal has received a Young Investigator Program award from the United States Army Research Office (ARO). According to the ARO, "The objective of the YIP is to attract outstanding young university faculty members to pursue fundamental research in areas relevant to the Army, to support their research in these areas, and to encourage their teaching and research careers.
Mittal submitted a proposal entitled "Developing a Science for Statistical ORAMs."
The ARO is housed under the Army Research Laboratory, founded in 1992.
