Two promotions and two new appointments were approved in the electrical engineering faculty.

Effective July 1, 2019, Alejandro Rodriguez and Kaushik Sengupta have each been promoted to associate professor. They joined the Princeton faculty in 2013.

Professor Naveen Verma opened the graduate student Class Day celebration, held June 3 in the Friend Center convocation room, with words of congratulations and encouragement to all. A total of 23 doctoral degrees were awarded in electrical engineering during the 2018-2019 academic year. An additional 21 students earned a master's degree.
